Autodesk Gallery

Reimagining a creative hub for makers and enthusiasts worldwide.

The Autodesk Gallery serves as an interactive platform showcasing customer stories, projects, and innovations built with Autodesk products. As the lead UX Designer for the Autodesk Gallery redesign, my goal was to transform the gallery into a more engaging, community-driven experience that connects customers directly to our desktop products, fostering stronger user relationships and increasing subscription conversions.

The problem

The problem

The original Autodesk Gallery website was limited in its engagement potential and lacked direct pathways for users to interact with our products and community. The site needed a modernized design that could leverage user interest to drive deeper engagement and increase conversions to Autodesk’s paid products.

The main objectives of this project were to enhance user engagement through community features, streamline connections to desktop tools, and create pathways that encourage subscriptions.

Research

Research

Through user interviews, analytics, and feedback, we identified key pain points and barriers in the Gallery’s existing structure. This research highlighted the need for a more interactive community experience and clear paths that encourage exploration of Autodesk’s desktop products.

Informed by these insights, our design approach focused on developing a community space that not only showcases user projects but also provides features that encourage users to connect, learn, and explore relevant Autodesk offerings.
